Nate Wright

Senior Pastor

Nathanael and his wife Colleen came to pastor Crossroads in August of 2013. Nate graduated from the University of the Western Ontario with a degree in English Literature and received his pastoral training from Emmanuel Bible College. He spent five years in youth ministry before participating in a two year apprenticeship program at West London Alliance church under the tutelage of Rev. Mike Wilkins.

Nate loves to teach the word of God and has been influenced by the writings of theologians Jonathan Edwards, Charles Spurgeon, John Owen and Thomas Watson. His passion is to see God’s people take their responsibility to study scripture, to make disciples of all nations and to serve others seriously. He spends most of his free time participating in sports and “hanging out with dead guys” (which is his way of saying reading Puritan authors).

Colossians 2:6-7

Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.

Chris Poots

Associate Pastor

Chris is the Associate Pastor and has served on the board of Elders since March of 2021.

Chris is passionate about the mission of the church and God’s word and he has been influenced by the teaching and ministries of Douglas Wilson, John Piper and Voddie Baucham.

Chris has been married to his beautiful wife Heather since 2007 and has been a part of the Crossroads family since August 2013.

When Chris isn’t at the church he spends his time reading, watching soccer and dreaming up ideas to further spread the Glory of God across all spheres of life.

Habakkuk 2:14
For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.

Aaron Vegh

Director of Congregational Care

Aaron and his wife Hannah started attending Crossroads in March 2021 when they were seeking a place to worship our great God and Saviour, Jesus Christ. They are overjoyed to be a part of this growing and diverse family.

Aaron has served in clinical chaplaincy for over two years both here in London and Toronto, and has experience as an employment councillor and caseworker for social services. He studied history and political science in Windsor with exchange programs in Germany. With a desire to become better equipped to serve God’s people, he studied theology at the Toronto Baptist Seminary.

When not working Aaron loves family time, the outdoors, political discourse, and above else, spending time alone with God. He has been influenced by the Christ-centred preaching of Dr. Glendon Thompson, Rev. Kenneth Stewart, and Rev. Bartel Elshout.

Ben Emery

Pastor of Discipleship & Headmaster of King’s Cross Academy

Ben came to Crossroads with his wife Emma and five children and joined pastoral staff in June 2024 as the Pastor of Discipleship. In addition to his role as Headmaster of our classical Christian school (King’s Cross Academy), Ben oversees the small group ministry and is passionate about seeing every Christian man and woman fulfill their God-given roles in family, church and society.

Colossians 1:10-11
…walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him: bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; 11 being strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy.
